The Best Robot Vacuum That Mops
Noah Pinsonnault works as a product analyst at Good Housekeeping's Home Care and Cleaning Lab.
He conducts tests and reviews of cleaning appliances. His focus is on mopping robots and vacuum combinations. Multitaskers can be ideal for those who are looking to get rid of mopping off their list of tasks. automated vacuum have superior mapping capabilities and obstacle avoidance. Some wash and refill mopping pads themselves for a hands-free clean.
The Eufy S1 Pro
This is the model to select if you're looking for a robot vacuum cleaner that also mop. It's smaller than the other models on this list making it easier to navigate through tight corners and under furniture. It features a 220-degree Lidar that, combined with the 3D Matrix Camera System, offers some of the best navigation and avoidance capabilities I've seen in a robotic vacuum. It packs a powerful 4600mAh battery that can last for up to 170-minutes when mopping and suction are set to standard mode (it can run longer in turbo). It will even return to its dock to replenish its battery in mid-clean.
It's extremely efficient and does an outstanding job cleaning my two-bedroom apartment. It cleans the carpeted rooms incredibly quickly and the hardwood floors in the hallways, and living room in one go. Its 8,000pa motor is able to remove dirt hair, pet hair, and even droppings easily. Carpet detection automatically increases power when it detects rugs and the double side brush helps to remove debris from corners.
The mopping performance is a little less impressive, though not by much. The mop's rotating motor spins at a high velocity and pushes down with 2.2lbs of force, easily scrubbing up dirt and staining. I've noticed that the front arms protrude out slightly more than other robots, which is useful to maneuver around tight corners and on baseboards. The front arms can also be used to scoop up larger pieces of debris, like books and broken toys.
Another nice feature is that the S1 Pro is one of the most quiet robot vacuums and mops I've ever tried. It doesn't produce as loud of a sound when mopping or vacuuming, and is much quieter than the Narwal Freo X Ultra or RoboRock S7. The only issue is that the S1 Pro must use a proprietary cleaning solution for mopping and is sold separately from the vacuum. It is easy to set up, and it works well. However should you purchase this vacuum solely for mopping purposes, you will need to pay attention to this.
The Roborock Q Revo
The Q Revo stands apart from the majority of robot vacuums which mops in its class. It has a robust suite of features that make it an ideal choice for homeowners looking to purchase an efficient, flexible and adaptable cleaning machine.
The device comes with an impressive and powerful cleaning system that integrates LiDAR sensors and an RGB camera to map the house and identify furniture and other obstacles. This information can be used to clean effectively and effectively. This will ensure a thorough and consistent clean, while also being relatively quick.
In terms of mopping, the Q Revo's DuoRoller mop pads can be used to reach many different surface areas. This includes corners, baseboards, and other hard-to-reach spots. The side brush can be stretched out to reach the floor near to the walls and other fixtures. The mop pads are also washable and can be dried to eliminate odors and stop buildup.
App-based customization is another notable feature. The Q Revo lets you adjust the strength of suction, and choose between a back-and-forth or slightly more randomized pattern. You can also select the number of passes, which will determine the speed at which it can move around your home. You can also decide to disable the side brush to prevent damaging carpets and rugs.
This device is expensive however it has many useful features. It's crucial to note that it incurs periodic costs, such as mopping supplies and maintenance. For example, the brushroll will need to be replaced after 300 hours or every six to twelve months. The filter should be cleaned after 150 hours and the mop pad must be replaced every three to six months.
This robot vacuum that mops is rated highly on Amazon and offers a wide array of physical automation features. These include the power button that can also function as a general 'Clean' button and a 'Home button that sends it back to its base station once it has completed the cleaning process. It also comes with a multi-functional dock which automatically empty the trash bin, fills up its water tank, and wash and dry its mop pads.
The Shark Matrix Plus
The Shark Matrix Plus will be an ideal choice for busy professionals or anyone looking to keep their home neat without spending too much time on chores. It has powerful performance, smart navigation, and a long battery life that makes it simple to keep your home clean with minimal effort.
The Matrix Plus robot vacuum is a two-in-one vacuum and mop. It is capable of vacuuming as well as mopping. The robot is divided into two parts, a dry bin and water tank that can be easily snapped in and out and a mopping module which is equipped with a microfiber pad. Separate modules for vacuuming and mopping may appear a bit dated, but they do mean you don't have to think about changing disposable bags or refilling the water tank.
Our test participants found that the Matrix Plus did a great job of vacuuming and mopping. Its best feature was its accurate map of your floorplan, which it uses to determine a route when cleaning. The Matrix Plus was able to navigate effortlessly between rugs, furniture, and other obstacles. auto vacuum cleaner offers the option to set "No-Go zones" and virtual barriers, which can help to shield certain areas of your house from being cleaned with mop.
The Matrix Plus also did a surprising job of picking up hair from pets. It was able to capture some of the hair that our cats shed, and even got into the corners and crevices of our stairs where other robots struggled. The noise levels were low, and there were some nice jingles to inform you that it was in the process of finishing its work.
The app was too basic and you had to change the modules each time you changed between vacuuming and mopping. The app doesn't have the capacity to hold multiple maps, which can be a pain if you have a home with a mix of floors. The Matrix Plus robot is a ideal choice for people who want a smart device that can mop and vacuum.
The Yiko X1 Omni
The X1 Omni is the most expensive robot vacuum that mops in our review, however it comes with some unique features that are worth considering. The X1 Omni's main draw is its enormous dock that serves as the robot's charging base and the housing for two 4 liter water tanks, a sink for cleaning, and a 2.5-liter dust bin that automatically empties.
The base has a couple of buttons for control, which allow you to manually start a cleaning task or recall the robot, or run the dock’s auto-emptying procedure. Hold down two buttons to turn off the child lock. This is a wonderful feature for parents who are concerned about their children playing with the vacuum.
The X1 Omni, like other robotic vacuums, uses its camera to detect furniture and obstacles in its path. It will avoid them. True Mapping 2.0 navigation maps your home up to four times faster than laser detection systems.

Unfortunately this means that the X1 Omni will occasionally get caught up in obstacles, like a power cord draped across a rug--that it becomes stuck and stops working until you remove it manually. This is a rare event however it was frustrating since the X1 does not have an "stuck status" alert on its application.
The X1 Omni is unable to automatically switch from mopping mode to vacuuming mode during the cleaning process. You will need to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't an issue apart from the fact that mopping pads aren't washed and dried between uses which could lead to mildew or mold.
The X1 Omni looks great, thanks to the Jacob Jensen design team (of Bang & Olufsen fame), who created its sleek modern base and mopping pad. It's a significant departure from the utilitarian, all-black bases used by competitors like Roborock and iRobot and is a refreshing appearance in a market that is dominated by bulky boxes and clunky models.
